Job DetailsKey Responsibilities and Duties:
- Review and sign off on complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
- Lead client tax planning and advisory services
- Supervise staff and senior accountants, providing mentorship and feedback
- Oversee research on complex tax issues and develop resolutions
- Maintain compliance with evolving tax regulations
- Collaborate with firm leadership on client engagement strategies
- Identify and implement process improvements
Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA required (or EA with strong public experience)
- Minimum 7–10 years of public accounting experience with tax focus
- Strong technical and leadership background
- Knowledge of UltraTax, QuickBooks, and GAAP standards
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
